Actually, you just asked if Hat understands *you* . . . I think you
meant "Hai, wakarimasu" (if you meant to say that you understood what
he meant and was agreeing with him . . . otherwise, please forgive me
for the interruption) . . .
** I could've learned French, Spanish or German, but I always liked the
Asian languages . . . since I've never been to Asia - though known
many a person native - it's nice to have found an opportunity to use
what I've learned!! : )

One of the worst places is movie theaters . . . and I'm not just
talking about the kind that PeeWee Herman used to frequent. Even the
local "family" theaters are pretty disgusting . . .
