Is there a way to get LABELs to maintain a certain width while being on the
same line as the related input box?
I tried using display: block, which I realize is probably the wrong way to
try to get the results I want. When I did so, it put the input box on the
next line.

Is a form considered "tabular data"? (See W3C example at
