Well, you get what you pay for. You can get decent hosting for < $5/mo. I
would never recommend free hosting for a client.
Someone has to pay for the hardware, software, communications lines, power,
support staff, etc. If you aren't paying for it in monthly fees, you're paying
for it in ads on your site. And if they don't put up ads, don't expect a lot of
commitment from them as far as up time, support or anything else.
