First, make a PHP file with <?php phpninfo();?> in it, and surf to it.
Then, find php.ini in that.
Then, if your php.ini file is not in that location, move it there.
Finally, uncomment the line with php_gd.dll (or similar) in it.
Oh, and re-start Apache to get php.ini re-read.
