1. in CSS: a beautiful function: display:none; - can be turned on or
off with javascript at runtime to show and hide page elements!
2. in CSS: display:block; - use on a hyperlink with a background hover
colour to create lovely solid rollover effects.
3. in CSS: position:absolute - use on an image with a negative margin
to pop your images outside of the strict cell walls!
