You can take a look at <http://www.hfglendale.org>, my church's site that
uses liturgical colors and seasonal flowers. There is a list of links at
the bottom right that allows you to choose different colors and seasons.
The site is done in ASP, and basically, the stylesheet that is loaded at
start up is the one corresponding to the season and color for that day
(taken from a db table). However, each colored stylesheet is also
included as an alternative.
There are six different colored stylesheets, and one main sheet that has
the positioning, font styles, etc., but no colors.
You are welcome to look at the source and sheets and if you want a
snippet of the code, post back here. It easily ports to PHP.
