And because of the elements that embed external content in a document,
only the IMG element is empty, making it necessary to use an attribute
to specify alternate text. Other such elements, like OBJECT and IFRAME,
the tag's content (excluding PARAM elements in the case of an OBJECT) is
the alternative text.

</object>
