Well since you are open to "any" advice, my advice is, don't do that.
Stop wanting to do that.
It is an unnecessary annoyance that will drive some users away from your
site not to return.
If the user wants to open a link in a new window they can do so easily
in any browser. If they don't do that it means they don't want that, so
why override their desires and make them angry?
