I have been thinking about running my own digg style website with a
script called Pligg. It doesnt have a key function that I am looking
for, so thats why I'm here to see if I can code it myself. I'm a
beginning programmer. I'd like for outgoing story links to be modified
probably by a redirect page or internally with some kind of PHP code.
Scenario:
Someone submitted a link to an amazon product in a story.
I'd like the redirect to somehow change that submitted URL and insert
my own amazon affiliate code (or overwrite theirs).
It would be nice to do this for all the affiliate programs I'm signed
up for too.
I'm not sure If I have to change the Pligg script code internally, or
if there is an easy way to write a redirect.php type of thing...
Any help would be great!!
