I'd start with Object Oriented Programming and leave the certificate. I
never encountered an employer who asked for a PHP certificate, but
nearly all of them ask for object-oriented experience. Often, an object
oriented background is considered more important than specific PHP
knowledge.
Mind you, a huge lot of those employers do not or hardly use any objects
in their code, but they nonetheless ask for the knowledge when
recruiting personnel.
