| One thing I have realized that schools definitely don't teach is the
| business and practical aspects of IT, which your questions address. I have
| known quite a few "programmers" with 4-year degrees who have no clue about
| developing real-world applications, or translating a set of requirements
| into a final solution. It's quite sad, really.
....and some of the best have no degree at all. some from schools and some
from need and hard-knocks.
