Just a follow-up. I ended up switching web hosting companies. I waited
for my isp to propagate my new dns info and uploaded the EXACT same
files to the new host server. Now all my contact info is getting
forwarded to my email address per the contact php scripts. Web.com
just called me and asked if i would reconsider changing and offered me
50% off but after 4 separate times, they insisted that my scripting
was wrong and their server was working fine. I have another domain
that is a variation of this one that i would like to url forward
(web.com is still the registrar for them) but i can't access the
domain management menu, they're going to email me (someday)the
username and password (the old just doesn't work).
I just read that these clowns were rated as the best hosting companies
in the world

that's seems hard to believe considering my problem should have been
pretty basic to solve. Maybe the big guys get all the service, not us
little peons. Anyway, that's the end of the saga.
