Use either multiple queries or user-defined variables. Try this
(given a table with fields `A` and `B`:

UPDATE tablename SET A = B, B := @tmp WHERE @tmp := A

Nice one liner SQL that swaps two fields. :)

Norm
....the WHERE clause gets evaluated first.
