4.3.11 if you're being conservative and want to match what most hosting
services are still on (i.e. the 4.3 branch).
5.0.4 if you want the latest and greatest.
AFAIK Apache version has little influence on choice of PHP, except that 5.0.x
may be slightly more preferred if you're on Windows and Apache2 as more work
may have gone into thread-safety which is required for that platform.
