Thank you, folks complained and it changed. My point is I don't hear
the massive complaining about how the websites all look horrible. The
user is happy with the way things are looking. So back to my original
point. Websites (in general) appears exactly as the designer intended
it to for the vast majority of the visitors.
If not, as you stated above, someone would be complaining.
