Here is an alternative to Dan's method, just using only the datetime
functions:

WHERE
SoldDate >= DATEADD(year, -1, DATEADD(month, DATEDIFF(month, 0,
CURRENT_TIMESTAMP), 0))
AND
SoldDate < DATEADD(month, DATEDIFF(month, 0, CURRENT_TIMESTAMP), 0)
