I'm sure about it. And it seems much more sure than you are about WAMP.
For your information, WAMP doesn't REQUIRE a webserver - it CONTAINS a
webserver. Install it, you have Apache, PHP and MySQL - all set up and
ready to go. Nothing else needed.
But I really don't have a problem with running a webserver on my system
if I need a gui. I'd rather use a proven open-source product like WAMP
than some poor and proprietary imitation - especially when it costs money.
