What's "cnr" ??? 
 
If you can get the fsockopen to work, and it doesn't return FALSE, then 
you should be able to use http://php.net/fread (and other file functions) 
to read and write data. 
 
The "cnr" bit is not clear... Do you just mean: 
 
<?php 
  $socket = fsockopen("http://example.com/?cnr=xxxxxx") or die("Could not 
open URL"); 
?> 
 
That should work just fine.
