On our site, in the US, with about 1.7 million visitor (12% international)
in the last 6 weeks, we saw 72% IE (45% of total visits in IE 6, 26% of
total visits IE 7, 1% IE 5), 18% Firefox, 3.5% Safari, the rest in mostly
other Mozilla based browsers. So although we have a higher percent of
Firefox visitors than the norm in theUS, adoption of IE 7 is outpacing
adoption of Firefox.
Windows OS accounts for 89% of visits (including 25,000 visitors using
Windows 98 and 514 visitors still using Windows 95), BTW, Mac about 4.5%,
all flavors of Linux is about .5%.
Does it show I've been analyzing stats in preparation for a site redesign?
