I'm a designer first, programmer second. The only reason I learned
*any* programming was that the visual things I wanted to do couldn't
be done any other way. I don't regret learning to program, but I don't
really like doing it much. It is very satisfying though when a
particular design that I did a lot of coding on is a success. I don't
thing design should be a static thing when it is online, and the only
way to achieve this is to interact with the user. It's very hard to do
this without creating some sort of logic.
On the other hand, if there was some other way of doing it, I'd quite
happily never program again!
