almost certainly..
however you didn't specify what type of db your using, or how you
opened the connection.
I'll venture to guess you want to see
http://www.php.net/function.mysql-close.php
this is unnecessary as it's closed when the script ends..
and note that mysql_connect() returns the connection resource... so
keep track of it.
