Most frameworks for PHP don't even have that handling ability, as most
of them don't have a pre established database, thus leaving all that
work for you.

Mine was first designed as a completely application independent
private messaging system. Then I just found out I could grow it to
become huge, and now it has much more features.

Probably. But I don't know... Some applications just don't care about
when the user registered.
