I turned down two people who wanted sites this month and a third that
I was going to make one for pulled out because someone in his company
caused a $10,000 mistake and they couldn't afford the site. They
wanted something really different. First I suggested this:

(I'm glad they didn't want that.)
This was the second mockup:

He wanted something a lil futuristic and didn't want a standard
interface with like a regular nav control, so I was going to create
lil icons on the right side for the different sections. If after a
month or two I haven't heard back from him I'll probably use that
design for something else...possibly the revamp of the Lego site.
A single contract job can usually support my monthly living expenses
for a good 3 months, so I'm pretty selective about what I choose to do
at this point, because pretty much anything eats into my study time.
I'm currently attending the "School of Hatter" which is the hardest
school on the planet. This next week...I'm going to master
ActionScript. The week after...gonna practice my Japanese and work on
creating 3D Studio Max bone structures.
