Start by asking the customer what he/she wants and what purpose the
website will serve. Many times you will get a blank stare, but you need
this info before you can start. If they have no idea, then you need to
help them or you are setting yourself up for failure.
Then look at their competitors to get some idea of how the site should
look and feel. A sports site will look very different than a sheet
metal fabricator's site.
