This is all very good stuff. What would be really cool is to have a
comparison on the website that takes someone through the trials and
tribulations of web application programming with and without Smarty.
Maybe a story format, where Bob the "php-is-a-template-engine" fanatic
and Joe the "smarty-i-get-it" guru are pitted against each other to
design some simple application by their manager. It shows how each of
them go about their design, then have the manager periodically throwing
curveballs at them (adding more requirements) and see how they each
solve the problems, and how the programmer/designer collaborate, etc.
Anyone want to tackle this one? :)
