I really like tables, very simple code would be:

<table>
<tr>
<td>IMAGE 1</td>
<td>Text for image 1</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>IMAGE 2</td>
<td>Text for image 2</td>
</tr>
</table>

Just repeat for as many pictures as you need. Hope this helps?
