Yes, but the content should be different (expanded and referenced on
the first one, simplistic but adequate for accessibility on the
repeats).

This is a job for your CMS to sort out. It's obviously painful to do
this with hand-coding. It's not actually that hard to write some
trivial XSLT that re-formats a hand-coded XHTML document usefully and
sorts this out. Not that I'm advocating XHTML for its ease of back-end
processing with tools like this 8-)
