No, i think not. This is the max execution time, so you could echo every
sec. a output and after 30 sec this script will be end, too.

If you set values in the php.ini, that is not playing with it.
It is configure for your special requirements.
But if you wouldn't do that, i wish you much fun by solving your problem.
