I'd say start with something simple. Just use PayPal for now. Assign
each artist an ID and make sure that ID is tied back to every payment
you receive. At the end of the month, find out how much money you owe
each artist and send them a payment through PayPal. The other
alternative is to pay for your own merchant account and payment
gateway. I've worked with Authorize.net (a payment gateway) before and
I'd recommend them. However, I'd stick with PayPal until you've proven
your business model or else you could end up paying more in fees then
you collect in payments.
