:But if you do borrow code from a GPL license project, then you are back on
:square one, you can still charge for support, but not for the code and the
:code has to be released under GPL.

I'm still unclear - I think it's genetic.
I read the gpl.

All I want to do is use php (and pear), apache, and mysql to make a single
table available in a web browser for searching and editing.. Is there a
simple checklist of things I have to do to be compliant? Make sure the
source is available.. What else?

Can't charge for the code, just support - so - installation? research?
design? Is there a distinction between development labor and selling the
finished product to a second etc client?

I'd get a comm license for mysql or partnership, but this isn't what I do
mainly, just something on the side - I'm not even sure I'll charge for it.

Thanks, JB
