If you are just echoing the text after submission, you are probably looking
for something like stripslashes().
echo stripslashes($_POST['myImageTag']);

and something like $_POST['myImageTag']) =
mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['myImageTag']);
or $_POST['myImageTag']) = addslashes($_POST['myImageTag']);
to put them back.
