I'm reading the instruction at
http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.java.php
It's too short and seems to apply to PHP4 only. We installed PHP5 on
Linux into default location, /usr/local/lib/php. There's no ext
directory under it, although php.ini says
extension_dir = "./"
Anyway, we need to have php_java .so and .jar files. I searched
http://pecl.php.net but didn't find anything that has "java" in the
name. Other than following the instruction at
http://php-java-bridge.sourceforge.net to install php-java-bridge,
where can I find a step-by-step procedure to build Java support into
PHP5 (not PHP4)? Thank you.
