It's you who is making an ass of himself. There really are certain rules,
customs and habits that define how a person "behaves" when writing to a
newsgroup. It's treat others like you want to be treated. Now you're
wondering how you've managed to upset lots of people - by not giving a shit
about the rules and making up your own, that's how. By doing that you've
made clear that you wish to be treated like the arrogant bastard that you
are and that's what you are getting.

This happens when cultures meet at 200mph. You come from another kind of
background, you're used to getting things done your way and suddenly you
find yourself in the middle of a php newsgroup where things are a bit
different. You don't get what you want, you don't understand why people are
pissed off and above all you think you are being polite...

To be able to communicate with the group, you and the group should accept
same rules of behaviour. It's you against the group. Do you think that you
should accept the groups ways and habits or should the group accept your
ways and customs? The easier way would be that you try to adopt the habits
of the group. First by looking into what "netiquette" is. You can start at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette . Then you loose the fucking
know-it-all attitude and accept that you're the minority. Then and only then
you can expect decent answers. Until that, "fuck you" and "don't top-post"
etc will be the answers you get. I'm not saying this because I'm evil or
judgemental. I'm just stating the facts you've missed and trying to help you
to help yourself.
