Try to reconfigure your php

../configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --enable-exif
--with-gd --with-jpeg --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib
--with-tiff-dir=/usr/lib --with-png-dir=/usr/lib
--with-pgsql=/usr/local/pgsql --enable-track-vars --with-xml
--with-zlib-dir=/usr/local/lib
