I found one thing... remove the .afm then it works,
$codeFont = 'fonts/Courier';
$pdf->selectFont($codeFont);
but later on, I still get an error sometimes when opening the document,
that the font cannot be found (in adobe that is), and it defaults to
Helvetica.
