Yep, and we're not asking you to so no worries. This thread was about the
subject line only, ta.

It was an example. Geesh you guys are hard to talk with.

Virtual tours as already stated. If you don't like the shopping, you might
be interested in visiting famous streets you may never get a chance to visit
in real life. It's as simple as that.

Of course it does. We are launching in the UK first.

Hey you may well prove to be right. I wouldn't say what we have done in the
unlaunched beta is a 'bad street'. That would be unfair. We are here to
simply reduce the loading time before launch.

Of course, that much goes without saying (twice).

Fairy nuff.

Thanks, that is one of the main benefits to the site.

We know the feeling ;)

I don't do the programming myself so I couldn't comment. All I can do is
say it is just a beta, so we weren't inviting critiques of the coding at
this point. Anything you have to say about the coding is therefore moot as
we know it isn't right yet. People here seemed to be answering quesitons we
hadn't asked, and coming out looking superior as a result of pointing out
beta code wasn't perfect! Wow, amazing.
This thread was about "Specify loading order of JPGs?" and nothing more, so
anyone else that chose to pick holes elsewhere was not really very good at
listening. Of course it's a free forum so they're welcome to. We just keep
setting them right.

Thanks for looking into this. Would you say this is a common FF extension,
or probably not worth worrying over? What % of users would you say had
installed it, across the whole browser population?
What was the load speed with that extension paused?
By the way, it's an unlaunched beta ;)

Not when it loads fine in 12 seconds on the slowest broadband :)

This isn't meant as offence, but the site isn't targeted to the select group
of CSS, HTML, JS, etc. experts found in this one group. That is why we did
not ask earlier for feedback on the site, and have never asked in this
thread. We only asked "Specify loading order of JPGs?" :-S

Thanks. We thought we had made this clear on the home page, however the
link we provided on this thread was direct to a sub-page, because we were
not inviting unsolicited reviews. Glad you get it :)

Where in Germany are you from? I was in Heerlen recently.
