Richard, what ancient version of PHP are we talking about here? Something
like:

<input type="text" name="doo[dah][dee][dib][dab]" value="dub">

and print_r($_POST)

Would result in:

Array
(
[doo] => Array
(
[dah] => Array
(
[dee] => Array
(
[dib] => Array
(
[dab] => dub
)
)
)
)
)

Has worked for ages for me.
