In addition to the suggestion to do log backups, you can also look
into differential backups.

There are third-party tools for backup, but they do certainly not
come for free. The two most commonly mentioned are SQL LiteSpeed and
UltraBac. With 45 GB of data, you are approaching the limit where
they can be of interest, but you are not really there I beleive.
