It's very unclear what you have done, after messing with the registry your
machine may be beyond repair. Or may at least require a complete uninstall
of VS and SQL Server and back again.
But if you already had SQL Server Management Studio Express installed,
that may be the root of your problem, as you cannot have both SSMS Express
and the big SSMS installed side by side.
