Let me give a short introduction to my problem:

For my gallery I want to upload fotos (jpg-files) using FTP-commands. It
should be possible to upload several preselected fotos sequentially. The
upload method will require some minutes. During the upload I want to display
informations about the current state of the file transfer, e.g. foto abc.jpg
is currently uploaded ...
At present I upload all files by applying a loop and the relevant
informations is displayed at the end of the upload process.
In which way one can display interesting file transfer informations in real
time? Is ist possible to implement popup forms in php? Are there standard
methods available?
