Call it a hunch, but you may get a better response in comp.lang.javascript

As a side note though, if you are really looking at MochiKit and Dojo for a
solution to make things "look" cool, I would recommend just learning how to
integrate Flash with MySQL. It's easier than it used to be and it's quite
flexible.
