Would you use text or images for the links?
A sitemap is typically a page with a lot of links, and I wonder how
crowded it would look with texts in circles.

Here is an example of a functional circle of images, which makes
perfect sense to have it in a circle instead of in lists (imho).

On this page it's important that one can see at once which components
have been 'installed' yet, which makes the circular form very useful.

On your site however, I think the amount of links will obscure the
overview, plus I don't think your pages can be as clearly depicted as
computer parts.
