For text file management, UltraEdit cannot be beat. It's a fully
functional text editor for programming in most popular languages,
including PHP, HTML, CSS, Java, and C++, and also has a built in FTP
client, which makes working with external files /extremely/ easy.

UltraEdit is not meant, however, to be a true FTP client, so when I
need to upload images, zip files, or the like, I use SmartFTP.
