There's a scene in the movie "A Beautiful Mind". (Maybe it was
from the Steven Hawkings book - I forget.)
This super-smart math dude is trying to do doctorate stuff. He
talks about trying to come up with *one unique idea*. If he can
just come up with *one unique idea*, he'll be able to make his
mark on academia.
We're all looking for a one unique idea.
Some of us think every idea they have is a new one.
Some of us are smart enough to know how rarely that happens.
