Yup, I'm very glad with my ancient Hotmail account. It's lately mainly to
catch spam, so I use it on the ng, but it's nice to still be able to check
it once in a while for real emails without awful webinterfaces :-).

I'd never recommend mailadresses like hotmail/gmail etc. Usually your
provider has a POP or IMAP account for you, available from anywhere in the
world, or else it's dirt cheap te get one on your own. It really saves a
lot of headaches. Did I mention I hate webmail applications? (Almost as
much as Google Groups...)
