A good 90%+ of all the sprites and chipsets uploaded to the 2D (flat
and isometric) video game making community are in PNG format (for
various, important reasons)...somehow I don't think they'll have any
problems with it.

You my friend are a borderline tweenage muppet fuck, functioning
computer-illiterate (like a functional retard)...if you can't even
figure out how to get QuickTime to stop preventing you from saving
images...well you sure the fuck aren't going to be making any video
games.
