As good as...
This reminds me: Apple, I think, have had, for some time, a
facility to turn speech into text. I have never got around to it.
I expect it could be useful to get basic text down before
editing. (Imagine a program to allow you to edit by voice!)
Obviously, now, this becomes on topic:
Bertand Russell was able to dictate whole books that "needed"
(the quotes indicate my cynicism) little editing, I think
Churchill too was a bit the same.
Me, I edit a lot. I think of all the words I need, they get typed
in alphabetical order and then I arrange them as I please.
Earthlings, I understand, type them more in the order of their
thoughts. This is what was so endearing about Luigi, it was a
window into his quixotic brain.
Horses for courses, or should we say, in honour of Him, freedom
is a very good thing.
