Maybe the SESSION data is lost on 2nd domain :

If on http://mysite.com/page.php you do:
session_start();
$_SESSION['data']='something';

on http://www.mysite.com/page.php:
session_start();
$_SESSION['data'] might be nothing...

because cookie is different for
http://www.mysite.com and http://mysite.com
