There are way too many things that could have gone wrong here...
What character set is used in MySQL? Are there any relevant settings
in the ODBC Connector that you should have used but didn't (such as
default character set for a MySQL connection)? Can you store
Cyrillic
symbols in "normal" Access tables without a problem?
