Ensure the SQL Server service is running under a domain account with
permissions to the share. Use a UNC path rather than a mapped network
drive. For example:

RESTORE DATABASE MyDatabase
FROM '\\REMOTESERVER\BackupShare\MyDatabase.bak'
WITH STATS=10
